Laboratory Manager

We are seeking a full-time Laboratory Manager to become part of a solid and successful team that is already in place. The Laboratory Manager oversees all aspects of the laboratory, including personnel and day-to-day operations.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Oversight of analytical method development and validation.
Maintaining compliance with Health and Safety guidelines.
Oversight of laboratory purchasing.
Oversight of equipment maintenance.
Ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
Annual review and update of Quality Manual and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Supervision of laboratory personnel.
Hiring and training of personnel.
Coordinating appropriate department coverage and chain-of-command.

Qualifications:
Minimum: Bachelors in Analytical Chemistry or related field.
5+ years lab experience using HPLC, GC, and Mass Spectrometry in a NELAC or ISO 17025 certified laboratory.
2+ years experience managing employees in a laboratory setting.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in environmental analysis using GC/MS, GC/MS/MS, or LC/MS/MS.
Experience with Agilent instrumentation and software — especially MassHunter.
Experience writing SOPs and method validation procedures.
Experience with LIMS integration, electronic notebooks, and general IT knowledge.
Experience performing pesticide residue analysis in foods, soil, or water.

The Field Services Specialist/ Technician is responsible for the procurement of field samples by standardized procedures. It is the Field Services Technician’s job to oversee all stages of the sample custody process prior to receipt of the sample by the laboratory. Other responsibilities are as follows.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Verifying batch sample to be tested is in appropriate condition and labeled correctly.
Assuring traceability.
Checking and maintaining chain of custody.
Documentation of all relevant information.
Working off-site at customer facilities.

Qualifications:
B.S. degree in science related field preferred, but not required.
1+ years relatable experience.
Successful completion of in-house training and competency training.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Team player with positive, respectful attitude.

This person will have responsibility for everything from developing go-to- market financial plans for geographic and product based opportunities, rebuilding and updating the company’s operating model and identifying areas for internal investment. We need individuals not afraid of wearing many hats and managing a constantly changing workflow.
 
Key responsibilities include:
Identify key business drivers, understand market dynamics, analyze scenarios, and clearly communicate your findings to the executive team
Develop pricing models for new products and services
Develop strategic business plans focused on implementing our investment strategy
Lead, conduct, and/or assist with investment due diligence or market analysis projects
Evaluate and recommend opportunities for new projects and programs
Provide clear, thorough, and consistent analysis on market trends, key players, product
performance, competitive context, market opportunities, and potential risks. These analyses are used by senior management to support decision making
